From 2018 to 2020, I dedicated the bulk of my reporting efforts on understanding the lasting impact nuclear weapons testing in the U.S. and Soviet Union has had on the communities that are still remaining today. My reporting on this topic area has been funded by the Society of Environmental Journalists, the Institute for Journalism & Natural Resources.
